Miss Fat and Beautiful 2009 Moran Baranes
The 22-year-old "heavy weight" beauty Moran Baranes, weighing in at 205 pounds, was crowned the title in "Fat and Beautiful" beauty pageant 2009 in Israel. Moran Baranes works as a security guard and enjoys painting and dancing.
This special annual "Fat and Beautiful" beauty pageant is only accept contestants with at least 176 lbs. The plus-size women from all over Israel competed in casual wear and evening gowns. Thinking how they look in swimsuit? Sorry, there was no swimsuit event in the competition.

ReplyDeletesome people are such pigs just because she hasnt spent every waking minute in the gym or making herself sick doesnt make her any less of a woman she is beautiful and i think the uk and usa should do the same instead of making children think that eating disorders are a part of being thin they should welcome every size of man or woman. every race is now excepted and every culture so why not every size???? yer some skiny girls may be prettier but everyone is beautiful in a different way, everyone is made different, if we were all the same and as shallow as some people then most humans would never get a date never mind get married.

ReplyDeleteSurprised by the negative comments and feels whilst so many are saying she's too fat for them - in all fairness, they would probably be too short, too tall, too thin, too ugly or too shallow to be her cup of tea! Nobody is perfect and I think it's wonderful that she shows you don't have to be stick thin to be considered beautiful.

i love how people say "Why you people try to promote such neglected sick obesity...???" when we know the world perfectly well accepts the promotion of anorexia" and did you think that her obesity might be caused by a slow metabolism and she probably eats the equal amount or less food , maybe even healthier then you eat? i've seen skinny people eat twice as much as a skinny person, but the skinny person has a higher metabolism.. i think sh's beautiful, she has to be at least 250, there is no way she's 205 unless she's like super short
ReplyDeleteHer beauty is a matter of opinion, her weight is not. There isn't opinion on weight, its fact. There is a healthy human weight, beyond that the human body cannot function properly. It is not acceptable to be fat - it is a damaging lifestyle akin to abusing hard drugs, and it certainly shouldn't be becoming as acceptable as it has in recent years. Being fat is something to be ashamed of, it is not something you are born with like a crooked nose, or thin lips, its a result of your own destructive behavior. This girl has potential, but my message to her: "You fucked up and threw that chance to be truly beautiful away when you ate yourself to obesity."

these negative comments make me sick. no it is not healthy to be overweight but some people find it harder to lose weight than others... i excersize daily and i am still overweight (it runs in my family) yes being overweight is unhealthy but what right do you have to insult her based on her weight? i think you must be insecure in yourselves to go around judging someone on something as stupid as their weight.. grow up and learn to accept people as they are!

So she's overweight, which does make her less attractive in society's eyes, but she still is beautiful. Promotion of obesity is no less healthy than the promotion of anorexia, which is far more commen in western society, to the point where everyone thinks its "normal".

ReplyDeleteThe negative feelings come from the fact that our culture is breeding an acceptance of obesity simply because it's becoming more prevalent in our society. I don't think that anyone would argue that eating disorders are a good thing, nor would anyone say that in order to be beautiful, one must spend every waking moment at the gym. However, this woman's weight is clearly due to the lack of proper diet and normal activity. I do not go to the gym (ever! never been once) and I eat a normal diet yet I am not obese. It's as simple as that. People who are a bit over "average" weight can still be gorgeous - I agree. However, I disagree with the notion that obesity should be embraced. I simply won't accept it. It's for reasons like this that America is becoming the laughing stock to the rest of the world.

ReplyDeleteoh my goodness! yes, she is lovely, her eyes are gorgeous. take it from me, a big woman. big is anything but beautiful. in the hot weather i sweat in all my folds and they crack and bleed. it is so hard to enjoy the sunshine because of it. when i shower i need help to reach all my body. I used to be fit and fat, now i am old and fat and can hardly breath when i walk, if you can call it walk. who is to blame??? Me. i simply ate too much and did too little. So if only this is read by one beautiful obese person and it helps then so be it. Please get the help you need to maintain a healthy BMI.
