Many actors have moved behind the camera to take a shot at directing, but none of them would have made the effort if they had spoken to Bill Murray first.

Some say acting alone gets boring. Some say directing can prolong their film careers in an industry where good roles dry up as actors age. Some say they just want to do it all.

Ben Heine is an illustrator, portraitist, caricaturist and photographer. The 26-year-old was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and currently resides in Brussels. He has studied graphic arts, sculpture and holds a degree in journalism. Oh yeah he can also speak fluent French, English and Dutch! His most recent project caught my eye, which he describes as digital circlism.

Using varying sizes of different shaded circles, Heine meticulously arranges them to form incredible digital portraits. Check out his work after the jump.

Usually people use coins to buy the right tools at the hardware store. However, the artist Stacy Webber, this approach is not interesting. She creates the tools of the coins. Rather, she makes sculptures out of coin-like instruments.
