The World’s cheapest car Tata Nano takes a twist by getting on to be the World’s most expensive car. The GoldPlus, a jewellery retail brand from Titan Industries of the TATA group, has revealed its much excited venture of paying a tribute to 5000 years of Indian Jewellery designing as it launches the World’s 1st ever gold jewellery car – the GoldPlus Tata Nano Car. Mr. Ratan N Tata, the chairman of Tata Group unveiled the latest model of Nano in Mumbai, INDIA on Monday 19th of September. Being formally sold at $3000 (Rs.1.5 lakh approximately) in its showroom, Tata Nano was beautifully decorated with gold, silver and other costly jewelleries. This new concept was invented by the 30 artisans, designers, covering Nano with 80 kgs of 22 Karat gold, 15 kgs of silver, gem stones and 14 techniques of Jewellery making – from entangled Filigree work, Meenakari work, Kundan work, the conventional Naqashi work. Exhibition of Tata Nano will be in about 29 places of Tata owned jewellery showrooms in 5 states around the country.
