Yet, whether everyday or downright disgusting, some of these remedies can be pretty surprising to Western eyes. The Gate Tower Building is one of the wonderful building in Osaka. The Place of crossing highway and high-rise. In Osaka, Japan's 'Second City', space for offices is severely limited. So limited that the 16 story Gate Tower Building had to lose the 5th, 6th and 7th floors to the Hanshin highway. The elevator passes through the floors without stopping. The floors through which the highway passes consist primarily of elevators, stairways and similar things without stopping and also it has heliport on roof. The Gate Tower Building is the first building which utilizes the three-dimensional road system in Japan.

Claes Oldenburg is a Swedish American sculptor, best known for his public art installations. Claes for the past 50 years is impressive for its large-scale sculptures. He was already 83 years old, and he does just that by replicating everyday objects into huge, fun, public art installations. Man Replaces Missing Thumb with a Toe (7 pics)
A British construction worker 29 year old James Byrne severed his thumb in a saw accident last December, he didn’t know if he’d ever be able to return to work again.
Surgeons attempted to reattach the missing digit but were ultimately unsuccessful as the thumb was too badly damaged. Upon realizing that he couldn’t return to his chosen profession without two working thumbs, Byrne decided to let surgeons amputate his left toe and graft it onto his hand.

Here's the Flatmobile at just 48cm (19in) high, it is set to claim the record for the world's lowest vehicle. The car is modelled on the Caped Crusader's favourite runaround and is complete with missile tips next to the numberplate and bullet-shaped rear-view mirror. It can even do 100mph (160 km/h) when the jet engine is used.
