Super Yacht - Luxurious Tropical Island Paradise (8 pics)

Super Yacht - Luxurious Tropical Island Paradise -
Having a yacht is no big deal today. What matters is the class of yacht you own. Even a super luxury yacht is not a novelty any more. You have to own something bigger and better to be noticed and appreciated as being better than the rest. Owning one’s own yacht is worth its while only if you have the ability to take your own tailored environment anywhere you want. It is rather ambitious to do it on a yacht but it is possible and has been done. Yacht Island Design have become the masters in the field.

Peugeot BB1 Electric Car - front photo The BB1 is Peugeot’s foray into the world of micro electric cars and is quite an extraordinary design concept too, inspired by Peugeot’s electric VLV from the 1940s. The vehicle is a cross between a scooter and a car, is powered by two electric motors, mounted in the rear wheels and represents Peugeot’s view for the future of electrical urban mobility. Peugeot says the BB1 is a logical addition to a vehicle line-up that incorporates bicycles and scooters, as well as cars.

Stunning Concept Rolls-Royce Apparition (15 pics)

Stunning Concept called Rolls-Royce Apparition -
You've seen the Rolls-Royce Phantom. You've seen the Rolls-Royce Ghost. Now say hello to the Rolls-Royce Apparition. Unlike its production counterparts, the Apparition is purely a design study. It's the brainchild of one Jeremy Westerlund, who designed it as an independent project while studying at the Art Center. The idea blends classic design elements with futuristic ones, with mahogany wheel inserts and a shape that places the chauffeur out in the open like in vintage motor carriages, with the occupants coddled inside.

Although just a design for the time being, the model itself is nearly six feet long, and in reality would measure over 23 feet long, or four feet longer than the Phantom saloon.

Stryder - A Knee-t Crutch on Wheels

A Knee-t Crutch on Wheels
Ohh that is clever. This is a project whose main function is to get you around in two kinds of style. One prerequisite: your leg has to be broken. What the weird!? Or if you want to fake it just to use such a wild and wonderful design, well that’s your own business I suppose. What this design, the “Stryder,” does, is act as both a one-legged crutch AND as a knee-standing scooter. It’s a transformer!

Amazing Pencil Printer & Eraser Saves Trees

Amazing Pencil Printer & Eraser -
The paperless office that was promised back in the last century never happened, and despite our increased use of the Internet and electronic gadgets, plus the endless little green pleas about saving the environment on the signature of nearly every corporate email, we still love to print stuff out.

Printing technology, then, continues to evolve. Yet while most people are looking for better laser and inkjet performance, Hoyoung Lee has designed a printer that works using pencils.

Mobile for Deaf

Mobile for Deaf?
Pratt student Suhyun Kim is quite concerned about the deaf folks and wants them to enjoy technology as much as we do. Her Visual Sound is a mobile phone for the hearing impaired that converts voice input to text and text input to voice. The design features two handy pillars that scroll sideways to expose the roll-out display. To communicate, the impaired person feeds in the text onto the touchscreen display, which gets converted to voice simulation for the person on the other end of the phone and vice versa.

Red Bull & Black Jaguar Bikes (5 pics)

Shiny Red Bull & Sleek Black Jaguar Bikes
Some people simply have way too much time on their hands. We salute (some) these people. Designer Lee J. Rowland was struck again with inspiration after the Jaguar and tackled this shiny bull. He had to think hard and long to figure out how to get the bull’s horns positioned on this bike. Red, loud, and shiny, the Bull concept motorcycle will surely call to some bike lover to be made into a reality.

Top 10 Most Spectacular Concept Bikes

Here is a list of 10 most spectacular concept bike ever made. These bikes are created with the singular intention of capturing the imagination of motorbike lovers. Most of these bikes looks best in the hands of an alien in a sci-fi movie. They are designed from scratch to inspire awe, keeping production feasibility in the back burner. Just read and enjoy these wicked creations.

10) Chrysler Tomahawk —
The Tomahawk is a production ready concept bike that was showcased by the car manufacturer Daimler Chrysler. The bike looks more like a sculpture made of chrome and brushed aluminum on wheels than anything else. But mind you, with a massive 8.3 liter V10 engine to move it around, this should comfortably be the fastest bike with an Internal Combustion Engine. The bike produces in excess of 500 horsepower, enough to take-off to 400 miles per hour. However, the mechanical components and tires will certainly limit the bikes capabilities. Although it is a motorbike, technically speaking, its got four wheels and a big bore V10, classic ingredients of a sports car.
